I came across something yesterday that I had never seen before. I was standing at a bar waiting to order some beers at about 4:00 pm (no surprise). The bartender told me he would be with me in a minute and went over to help another guy, a dude if you will, who had bellied up before me. This guy ordered a Mimosa. I didn’t believe it until the bartender pulled out the champagne bottle.
I couldn’t believe any man who had a pair would order a Mimosa at 4:00 pm on a Saturday. After thinking about it I realized there are only two acceptable scenarios for a man to be drinking a Mimosa.
1. Before 10.30 am on a Saturday.
2. Before 3.00 pm on a Sunday.
Drinking a Mimosa at any other time than the two stated above is an automatic self nomination for Douche Bag of the Week.
