Why We Love the Boggs

April 24th, 2007 by Mitch Martin · No Comments · 0 Views

Since starting up Tasty Booze we have had more then a few comments from people who disagree with our love of the Boggs. It is the usual “bilge water” this or “Dick’s Danger Ale is better” that, kind of shit. I thought I would take this opportunity to provide a little explanation.

All of us here at Tasty Booze know that micro brews exist. In fact there are more than a few that I am quite fond of. If I am at a nice dinner or meeting my parents then I will order something like a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Mac & Jacks African Amber or a Redhook ESB. The problem is that the previously described situations account for about 1% or less of the drinking situations I find myself in.

Generally when Friday night rolls around and we Tasty Boozers are going to “make a night of it” we are looking at putting down 12 – 15 cold Boggs each. Sure I would like to drink a tasty Mac & Jacks but I don’t want to be bloated up like Rosie O’Donnell after my third beer. Simply put it is a give and take relationship. Boggs taste good, allow us to drink all night, not feel bloated and keep our girlish figures. So for our purposes the Boggs is simply the best beer our there.
