Our favorite Simple Lifer Nicole Richie surrendered to deputies yesterday to serve her 4-day sentence in jail for driving under the influence of drugs. Well, 82 minutes later she was released. Let’s do some quick math on this one….
24 hours per day X 4 days = 96 hours
96 hours X 60 minutes per hour = 5760 minutes
82 minutes / 5760 minutes = 1.4%
She must have had some “extra” good behavior during that 82 minutes in order to cut 98.6% of her jail time off. But of course the Deputy Sheriff claims she was treated “in the same manner as other inmates”. If that is the case I expect Vick’s projected 18 months to be cut to 1 week, which would be an equivalent ratio.
According to the thesuperficial.com, deputies were not able to confirm whether Richie had actually spent any time in a jail cell…good times

Celebrity DUI convictions are such a joke. Lets just make a law that celebrities are above the law and be done with it.
