Leave it to the Canadians! Scientists there have discovered in female laboratory mice, that just a tiny whiff of a male’s pheromones is enough to make her sprout new neurons in her brain. The research does not suggest that the same is true for humans, but we can certainly hold out hope. I would love to eventually have this conversation:
Girlfriend: “I can’t finish this crossword puzzle for the life of me!”
Me: “Here, smell my armpit.”
