100,000 Hits This Year…No Big Deal

September 7th, 2007 by J Diggles · 5 Comments · 0 Views

Late last week tastybooze.com surpassed 100,000 hits since the site was re-kicked-off on January 21, 2007.  I wanted to take this opportunity to thank our faithful tastybooze.com readers for their support.  I would also like to thank our fearless leader Mitch Martin, whose vision has gotten us this far.  But seriously though, 100,000 sounds like a lot to me.  Assuming that the 5 posters have gone to the site in the neighborhood of 2,000 times each, that still leaves 90,000 hits from you lonely and bored readers.  So stay lonely, because I want to hit 300,000 by years end…

Congrats - I only plan on getting lonelier.

As part of the celebration, you guys should add a shoutbox thingy so people will have a place to say random things like “hey, y’all! The HTML in your RSS Subscription block looky kinda familiar and I think I seen that orangey logo somewheres too.”

I don’t know who would say something cryptic like that.

    I’m just sayin’…

Yeah I did borrow that RSS logo from you but I got the HTML from a fairly popular tech blog that I used to read.

Lifehacker? Cause that’s where I stole it from. Haahaa :)

Not Lifehacker but that is a pretty good guess. If we are going to name names then it was Gizmodo that I lifted it from.

LifeHacker and Gizmodo are both Gawker Network sites so I guess that explains it.
