Lawyer Asks For His Client To Be Made Drunk

This is genius. Sure some people might not be able to function at 0.08 but that is just a drop in the bucket for me. I have long believed you should be able to take a driving test while under the influence of alcohol. If you pass the test then you would get some kind of graphic on your license, like the organ donor heart, that would let officers know that 0.08 doesn’t apply to you.

His request to prove that his client was able to drive while over the limit was turned down by the judge

A request for forensic testing from a lawyer whose client is up in court for drink driving later this month has been turned down by the judge as ‘impertinent.’

The lawyer had asked the court for his client to be made drunk, to prove that he is capable of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
