2 Girls 1 Cup sequel dated!

Last night I tried to describe 2 Girls 1 Cup to a friend. Unfortunately, I’ve gone through the horror of watching the video (I will never be able to look at two girls-making-out-over-an-adult-contemporary-piano-rift as amateur soft-core porn again). Well, I felt I wasn’t doing the video justice and forced myself to visit the infamous site again (of course, I have it bookmarked).

After the second longest minute of my life (obviously number one was the first viewing), I thought the coast was clear to check out the rest of the site. Just under the video is an innocent countdown - something that would probably go unnoticed as just a simple banner ad - instead holds the future of the internet. Even with the countdown at 24 days, I feared the worst, as I naïvely clicked on the “What is this?” and a page opened up titled: “1 Girl 1 Pitcher: Is it baseball?” (WARNING: Currently this site is only NSFW because of the ads, but I imagine it’s going to get much worse, go to 1 Girl 1 Pitcher at your own risk.)

Since the debut of the internet sensation, parodies, essay and thousands of reaction videos (the one of The Roots is my favorite), I think everyone has made a reference to the video in a joke of their own… 3 Guys 1 Bowling Ball, 1 Guy 1 Girl 2 Beer Bottles, 1 Grandma 1 Turkey (this was a big hit at Thanksgiving and I am going to hell), etc. In less than a month we will find out what exactly “1 Girl 1 Pitcher” is. Will it involve a larger amount of feces? Golden Shower? Roger Clemens on steroids?

You know what they say, the sequel is never as good as the original – whether that is a good thing or a bad thing in this case, we’ll see. Let us know your predictions in the comments!
