Michael Martin Flaherty, 21, and his two buddies died when the Subaru Impreza WRX they were in hit a light pole at 100 MPH and was split in two. Flaherty’s sister had this to say about her brother and the crash.

“The thing that really makes me feel much better about this is they died doing what they loved to do — they were drinking, they were going fast and they were together,” Lorie Flaherty said. “It gives me comfort, it does, to know those three things.”

I wonder if she would feel as comfortable about the drinking and driving if they had taken out a car load of kids in this accident.
