Ian Wilkinson a chief pilot has been fired by Cathay Pacific for buzzing the runway in a brand new Boeing 777-300ER. Wilkinson was flying the plane on its maiden flight from Seattle to Hong Kong with the chairman of Cathay Pacific and other VIPs on board. After taking off Wilkinson pulled a u-turn and buzzed back over the runway about 28 feet off the ground at over 280 knots. When the plane arrived in Hong Kong Wilkinson was congratulated but when video leaked to the internet and the higher-ups realized just how low to the ground Wilkinson had flown he was fired.

The job loss is tough but a Tasty Booze congrats to Ian on having one massive set of balls. Most people won’t sneeze around their CEO let alone pull a stunt like this when they have the CEO’s life in their hands.
