Fast food really isn’t known for being on the cutting edge of anything. Not to mention, with everyone barely holding on to their final hope of maintaining their New Year’s Resolution (yeah, like just avoiding fast food is the key), the last thing people need is an easier way to eat/obtain greasy goodness.
The South Korea-based food chain, BBQ Chicken (I assume there’s a bad translation here), came up with the Col-Pop. The Col-Pop takes the super-sized soda cup and tops it with a cool miniature cup-lid to hold your chicken mcnuggets, fries, tater tots, etc. The cup-lid comes with two small holes to insert a straw. BBQ Chicken does have some U.S. locations, but only a few on the coasts.
Awesome! This would be perfect for eating on the run or running while eating. I’m surprised this wasn’t developed earlier by a U.S.-based fast food chain, especially with all the business they do through drive-thrus.
