Check out this stunt pulled by the Denver police on Thursday. This chucklehead stood on a street corner for two hours warning people not to run the red light. Apparently over a dozen people were arrested by officers stationed around the intersection.
This is my favorite quote from the story.
He was dressed more like a homeless person or a war protestor, but drivers who paid attention to his sign saved them themselves a ticket.
Really, “more like”!? The guy has on a scarf, new ski jacket, gloves, jeans, he is clean shaven and his goddamn beanie has “PD” stitched on it. He looks less like a homeless person than anyone I have ever seen. Apparently if you hold a cardboard sign you are automatically a homeless person or a war protester. What if the guy was protesting bullshit tactics used by cops to give people tickets? How come only the “drivers who paid attention to his sign saved them themselves a ticket”? What about all the other people that didn’t pay attention to the sign but by some miraculous act of God or common sense didn’t run the red light?

presumably if you’re running a red light you’re not going slowly enough to look at a cardboard sign some douche bag is holding up
