Wonder if he going to end up under run into any former customers in the joint. Steve Warshak founder of Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals makers of the “male enhancement” pill Enzyte has been convicted of conspiracy to commit mail fraud, bank fraud and money laundering.
Prosecutors claimed customers were bilked out of $100 million through a series of deceptive ads, manipulated credit card transactions and the company’s refusal to accept returns or cancel orders. They said unauthorized credit card charges generated thousands of complaints over unordered products.
I always wondered how Enzyte managed to sponsor a racing team and pay for all the ridiculous commericals featuring the grinning jackass in the upper right. I guess stealing from people is as good a way as any.
