Rules are simple, and yet, ingenious…
1) Set-up a standard checkerboard using shot glasses and half shots of beer
2) When you jump the opponents checker, they drink the shot and remove the glass from the board
3) When you get Kinged, you fill your shot all the way
4) Loser drinks all remaining shots on the table
A mere $13.95 for the shot glasses and checkerboard….and free if you happen to be in a fraternity. The last time I played checkers was in 6th grade I think, but this would have made it a lot more fun. I suppose real men at my age would play with tequila though. Any takers?

It’s a great game…When I was in college, we actually held an annual tournament of pong and checkers…winner got 2 tickets to vegas.

Tickets to Vegas is a great idea. I happen to have both a portable beer pong table and shot checkers at my house.

We do have a second, slightly damaged, beer pong table. It would work perfect as a flip cup table.

The original beer checkers is called Checkerboard Chasers. I got it about 4 years ago, when I was in prime drinking shape. We’d fill 3-5 of them (per team) with whiskey (so it looked kinda like beer). That’d surprise the hell out of you when you thought you were getting a beer shot. It resulted in more than one person throwing up. Good stuff.
