Louis Davis was driving his two kids to school in his Honda Accord when he got stuck behind a slow moving blue and white van driven by Victor Vilchez. Mr. Davis managed to speed up and pass the van. Mr. Davis reports that once he was in front of the van the van rammed his Honda Accord and then the driver fired a shot at him. Mr. Davis responded by returning fire at the van. Genius. Mr. Davis took his kids home and then hit the streets searching for the blue van. Mr. Davis hid on a busy street and then fired several shots at Mr. Vilchez as he sped by in his van, one of which when through the windshield. Mr. Vilchez hit another vehicle while he was returning fire but fled the accident scene. It doesn’t exactly say how cops caught these two brainiacs but they are both facing aggravated battery charges.
I understand wanting to protect your family but I have a couple of issues.
1) Don’t fire a goddamn handgun from your moving car when your kids are in the backseat.
2) If you get the kids home safe call the cops. Don’t head back out to the streets for some vigilante justice.
