Cameron Bieberle was sitting in a shopping cart and holding on to his buddy’s Cadillac Escalade while they drove through a parking lot. Apparently the duo didn’t bother to map out the route before starting this ingenious activity. The Escalade ended up hitting a speed bump and Cameron was thrown out of the shopping cart. He hit the pavement, I am guessing head first, and died at the scene. Are you more or less surprised to find out this happened in Florida?
Original Story: Orlando Sentinel
On the opposite coast Michael Joseph, 22, died over the weekend after he lost control of his homemade soapbox race car. Michael was bombing down a hill in the San Fernando Valley when he lost control of the soapbox racer and crashed into a car that was parking along the side of the hill. Michael was part of a group called the San Fernando Valley Illegal Soapbox Federation.
I don’t know if crashing your illegal soapbox racer is dumber then holding on to a moving vehicle while in a shopping cart but it definitely scores high in the creativity department.
