Sure millions of people watch “American Idol” every week and now that we have our final 12, things are going to heat up. This is when I stop watching. Despite Ryan Seacrest (Out!) trying to hype the shit out of the new stage design, I’m not interested. Not to mention the fact that I can’t even watch the show live without contemplating suicide; TiVo/DVR has saved my life many times.
The problem with “American Idol” is that it’s a singing competition now, instead of a beauty/popularity competition. Which is bullshit, this is America! We judge people on their body shape, they way they dress and if they’re Hot or Not. Since when does it matter if you can sing? Obviously that wasn’t a necessary requirement for Britney Spears.
Last night, Asia’h and Kady were eliminated. It was a sad evening, two of the hotter contestants gone. Kady was especially impressive because she could do a dead-on impersonation of Britney Spears. If Howard Stern can motivate people to keep that no-talent ass-clown Sanjaya around, I think we can do our part to keep the ladies in the mix. Last year, I know I did everything in my power to keep Haley Scarnato on the show for as long as possible.
If “American Idol” isn’t going to be easy on the ears, we should at least make it easy on our eyes. Vote for Kristy Lee Cook!

She has got my vote.
It’s aweome you that you admitted that you not only watch Idol you DVR it! Also,the fact that this girl looks about 17 is not awesome for men that are well….slightly older than said 17 year old. Mitch check yourself or you’ll be voted off!
@Ellensburg:
Three things…
1- Kristy Lee Cook is 24 (which is almost too old!)
2- I only DVR American Idol to get through an episode in 15-20 minutes, instead of being slowly killed by commercials and Ryan Seacrest
3- I didn’t know they had the Internet in Ellensburg
@Ellensburg
Why am I being called out?
I am just trying to help a talented young woman reach her dreams of becoming the next American Idol.
@ Mitch
Amen!
