Thanks to American Idol: Idol Gives Back this week, Kristy Lee Cook was given an extra day to worry about her fate on the show. Although, during last year’s charity-focused week, American Idol spared the contestants in their own form of charity and didn’t send anyone home.
As Pretty-boy Seacrest invited each singer out to the stage one-by-one, the first three were safe…then came KLC. With three contestants left backstage and no one placed in the bottom three yet, it wasn’t looking good. But KLC apparently cruised through this week, landing herself in the next week, while Michael Johns, Carly Smithson, and Syesha Mercado, had to sweat through another agonizing commercial break.
Michael Johns got the boot and even Seacrest had to reiterate that someone was going home despite it being Idol Gives Back week. Pussy.
Seven contestants left. Four girls, three guys. I have a bad feeling that one of the girls will be going home. Syesha and Carly haven’t been doing as well recently, even Brooke White has had her faults. Now it’s up to Kristy Lee just not to eff up. Keep on, keepin’ on!
