I don’t know if this hospital outsourced their translation work or what but they obviously didn’t check it against this list of 50 words that women hate. If they had they would have found out that cunt rings in at #7 on the list of hated words. Personally I think cunt is #1 but who am I to argue with a scientific study.
Really, though I wonder how the phrase reads in the native tongue. Sure cunt is bad but would it be any less weird if it just said Vaginal Examinations? Shit, it says Gynecology & Obstetrics right at the top of the board so somebody knew the correct medical terms.
