Well, Ivica Vastic is a hero in Austria today. Not only did he just win himself a life-long supply of beer, he gave Austria a 1-1 draw against Poland in the Euro 2008 Tournament today.
If you’re Polish right now, you are probably drinking as well, because you got hosed. Vastic scored on a penalty kick in extra time to give the Austrians their first goal of the tournament. It could also cost Poland a shot at the next round with Croatia’s surprising upset of Germany earlier today.
