When I was a kid, a friend of mine did that and flew a 360 backwards. I was kind of expecting that. The whole thing falling apart wasn’t in my top five guesses.
*cough bullshit OM bullshit cough* Mythbusters already had an episode where they strapped a rocket in Buster’s swing seat. It didn’t go 360 forwards or backwards.
I really thought that kid was going to make it all the way around. Overall I was still pretty happy with the results.
Well, when it reached the top, my friend flew backwards (probably let go out of fear) while the seat continued a 360. I don’t know if that’s exactly what they did on the nerdy-show, but that’s what happened.
