We have mentioned blast knuckles and lexan knuckles before but I think the WASP knife puts both of them to shame. The WASP knife holds a canister of compressed gas in a the handle similar to a CO2 cartridge. Once you stab the victim and depress the trigger on the knife handle the gas is shot out through a needle size opening in the blade. The gas is below zero when released, instantly freezing surrounding organs or tissue, then the gas expands to the size of a basketball at 800 psi almost instantly.
These things are designed for hunters or divers who need to defend themselves against bears or sharks but cops are worried these things are going to hit the street. I can understand why. If someone stabbed you with one of these things your body would look like the watermelon in the video below.

Remember the gun that shot a pellet, in the James Bond movie ‘Live and Let Die’? Bond shot a bad guy with the gun, and the bad guy blew up like a huge balloon instantly, until he hit the ceiling and popped, raining down bad-guy-shrapnel all over everything. Not a pretty sight.
