The world’s tallest skyscraper, the Burj Dubai tower, is almost complete and as you can see from this high resolution shot the thing is massive. The original plans for the tower call for the aircraft beacon to sit 819 meters in the sky or just barely over half a mile for those of you who are metrically challenged.
