Vanderbilt is one of the biggest surprises in college football this year. The Commodores (yes, that’s their mascot) sit atop the SEC East Conference and are ranked in both polls. Last week Vanderbilt went on the road to face Mississippi, definitely not the best team in the SEC, but still considered a test for Vandy this early in the season. Vandy pulled out the victory 23-17, taking their record to 4-0 and reason to celebrate!
And that’s exactly what the Sigma Chi Fraternity decided to do… all night long… at a campground… in Tennessee. The part was cut short when the ground manager called the police when the raucous crew wouldn’t shut the fuck up and were setting off fireworks. All 57 members of the frat at the party were arrested.
Don’t worry, these kids only have another week of celebrating. This week is a bye for Vandy, but three of their next five games are against teams in the top 15. Enjoy it while it lasts!
