There were plenty of drunk shenanigans going on in my dorm in college. Sports in the hall was one of our favorites and became a badge of honor to be written up for it by our RA. However, just being drunk and sprinting down the hall never really caught on for some reason.

I’ve definitely done a few hall sprints in my day. Although never in any halls that had glass doors.
Sports in the hall are often not a good idea. I had a friend at uni who was involved in an impromptu game of soccer that went drastically wrong. The ball hit and ruptured a PVC pipe that was connected to a 10,000 gallon sprinkler system. The emergency shut off valve had been chained and padlocked so all they could do was watch as the 10,000 gallons of water flooded an upper floor of Fenner Hall. The water flooded many student rooms causing a lot of damage to books and papers left on the floors but worst of all it poured down a lift shaft causing a quarter of a million dollars worth of damage. The insurance covered most of the damage but the 4 or 5 students involved had to pay the insurance excess. This amounted to $1000 each. I think they got off very lightly. To this day my friend is still acutely embarassed by the whole event.
