It has been a rough year for Seattle sports. We lost our NBA franchise to Oklahoma City, our beloved Mariners battled most of the season for the worst record in the majors, the Seahawks are at the bottom of the NFC West (although did look much better yesterday) and the University of Washington Huskies are a lost cause after starting 0-7 (one of two Div. I teams without a win this year).
Luckily, there’s a new team coming to the Seattle sports scene, the Lingerie Football League’s Seattle Mist. A couple weeks back, the team held tryouts at a nearby park…if it wasn’t for my real job, I would have done a little first-hand scouting of the team.
The next game for the Mist is against the San Diego Seduction, on Nov. 27. Expect more coverage, or less coverage if you know what I mean, on the Mist in the future, as we like to follow our local teams that win…or at least look good trying to win. Here’s a link to the Mist’s MySpace page.
