From this trailer, I can’t tell if “I Love You, Man” is supposed to be a buddy-comedy (like “Step Brothers”) or a date-movie (like “Knocked-Up”). Either way, it looks like there will be some good lines, just need to see how this plays out… if it’s a mandate movie or something to take a lady friend to. “I Love You, Man” stars Paul Rudd (from “Knocked Up”, “40 Year Old Virgin”, and most recently “Role Models”) and Jason Segel (from How I Met Your Mother, “Knocked Up” and most recently “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”), with Rashida Jones as the main female actress (Jim’s ex-girlfriend on The Office).
