Usually when we post something like this the translation fail occurs when something is being translated into English. This time things are working in reverse.
This is the sign outside of the new Hooters restaurant in Beijing, China. That’s right literally hundreds of millions of Chinese men are now going to be able to eat shitty hot wings while feeling slightly uncomfortable.
Sure the awning says “Hooters” but that Chinese above the awning says “American Owl”. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t think American Owl really conveys “shitty food, beer and girls in short-shorts with self esteem issues” the way Hooters does.
