This is footage of Evel Knievel’s first jump that was televised on ESPN’s Wide World of Sports back on March 25th 1967.
You’ve got to love a guy that is going for a 15 car jump and mentions on national television in the pre-jump interview that he missed his last jump of 13 cars and ended up in the hospital for 5 months. Those are some big brass balls.
