We’ve been reminiscing along with Conan O’Brien the past couple of weeks, posting a lot of his favorite segments/moments from “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” that were aired as part of his final two weeks on the air. Of course, Conan is in the process of moving to Los Angeles and kicking off his stint on the “Tonight Show” on June 1.
We’re going to miss Conan’s low-budget show and brand of humor that fit nicely in the late night time slot. Some of his antics won’t cut it on the “Tonight Show,” for example the Masturbating Bear. The good news is that Conan’s old side-kick and co-host, Andy Richter, will be joining the team in L.A. Richter joined Conan when the show was struggling and definitely brought a lot of laughs to the show (see the video below). On the “Tonight Show,” Richter will handle the announcer duties, but will also be involved in comedy skits and filmed segments. Definitely something to look forward to! Leno’s dismissal cannot come soon enough!
