Last year’s Super Bowl was pretty awesome. Primarily because it meant the Patriots blowing it and not completing the perfect season. And this year, the Super Bowl delivered once again. From beginning to end, it was a good day. Jennifer Hudson sang a great national anthem, a slow first half came to an exciting end, Bruce Springsteen
rocked halftime with a mix of the old and the new (with some awkward football reference thrown in), and Pittsburgh and Arizona made it exciting until the very end. In fact, the worst part of the Super Bowl, for once, were the commercials. But, I consider this a good thing.
The TastyBooze team won as well, going 4-3 on our Super Bowl picks, with Mitch Martin, Ol Dirty Curty, FrankTheTank and myself all correctly picking Pittsburgh as the champs. The margin wasn’t quite what Curty had predicted but at least this game wasn’t decided by the referees. Although I will say that the Cardinals hurt themselves multiple times with penalties. I’m sure there are some Cardinal fans out there angry with the officiating - maybe not as angry as the Seahawks’ fans from Super Bowl XL.
Hats off to Super Bowl MVP Sanantio Holmes for that amazing, game-winning TD catch. Ben Roethlisberger, we still hate you.

I must say I was not so much impressed with Springsteen’s show as much as I was with Jennifer Hudson’s version of the National Anthem! WOW she is great singer! That will definitely help boost her ratings as she makes her comeback!
