What? WHAT? Why have I not heard about this until now? That’s right, women in lingerie will be playing football. It’s like taking cheerleaders to the ultimate, awesome next level. Do you think they get in fights? Are there pillows and/or Jello on the sideline just in case? Do they make out? My mind is blown.
The details. Based on an ultra-successful PPV Super Bowl halftime show in 2004, 10 teams of women across the country are going to play actual football dressed in just there undies, shoulder pads, knee pads and helmets beginning on September 4th, 2009. Now this is some FANTASY football.
And the best news of all (for me) is that there is a Seattle-based team. The Mist. They will play on the grid iron against the Dallas Desire, LA Temptation, Phoenix Scorch, San Diego Seduction, Atlanta Steam, Chicago Bliss, Miami Caliente, New England Euphoria, and Tampa Breeze.
