It’s Sweet 16 time and nothing goes together better than a little booze and college basketball. If you’re still in the running with your bracket then you should drink in celebration. If your bracket has already been destroyed and your losing to a girl who picked her bracket based on how the school names sound then it’s time to drink to dull the pain.
Sure you could just sit down with a 12 pack and power through it but we figured it be a little more fun if a game was involved. Below are the rules to the official Tasty Booze Sweet 16 drinking game.
- Finish your drink every time CBS switches from the game you really want to watch to some other game.
- Assign corporate sponsors to each person, every tme their sponsor’s commercial comes on, they drink (Etrade, Charles Schwab, Sonic, AT&T, etc.)
- Drink every time Jay Bilas throws unnecessary praise on UNC or Duke
- Drink every time they talk about the amazing career of the head coach
- Drink for every point an underdog wins by.
- Drink every time a player’s family is shown in the stands.
- Drink anytime a senior does something that is mentioned
by the announcers.
If you manage to dupe some girls into drinking and watching basketball with you here is one extra rule to get the girls in on the fun.
- Girls drink on made/missed 3s, guys drink on made/missed free throws… this is sure to get everyone drunk when the end of the game rolls around.
