Colorado recently rejected a vegan’s vanity license plate application because they felt is was vulgar and dirty. The ladies vanity plate is supposed to be read as “I-LV-TOFU,” however the officials in Colorado read it as “I-LV-TO-F-U.”
I think they should go ahead and give her the plate. If the lady wants to celebrate compressed bean curd than more power to her. I think the folks at the Colorado Department of Revenue need to take their minds out of the gutter.
