While she isn’t going to take the crown from Miss South Carolina for the “Dumbest Beauty Pageant Answer Award” Miss California really made one hell of an effort last night. I’m actually pretty surprised. I mean I would expect that “no offense but you don’t deserve equal rights” kind of an answer from a girl hailing from the South or the Midwest but not someone from one of the edges of the country.

So she believes that “opposite marriage” is the only form of marriage? Isn’t that an oxymoron? I’m getting a headache just trying to figure this out.
The most exquisite reply that exquisite woman could have given is this:
“My position on this issue is exactly the same as our President Barack Obama”.
President Obama has stated himself that he is oppossed to gay marriage but is ok with civil unions and I agree with him!
Perez Hilton (a judge, no less) ASKED her the question, & when she gave her opinion, she got slammed for it, and the head of the pageant said that politics have no place in the Miss USA pageant. So, basically what he is saying is that it is ok for a judge to ask a political question as long as the contestant gives the RIGHT answer. Funny how they reserved that question for Miss California. The gays are so upset that Prop 8 was passed now (twice!!) by the California voters of one of the most liberal states in the Union, it just bothers them to no end!!! All Perez was doing was using a national broadcast for his own selfish agenda!!! Talk about intolerant…the gays are quickly getting the patent on that one!!!
Props to Miss California for stating her opinion & not some staged B.S. answer!
‘opposite “sex” marriage’ is probably what she meant ( man and woman) - she flubbed it.
And it was upheld today in Cali 6-1.
She has the EXACT same position as Obama, Clinton an Biden, BTW…
