A beer truck carrying 40,000 pounds of beer crashed in Swanton, Vermont, last night. The accident closed the freeway for several hours as they cleaned up the accident scene. Luckily, when the truck flipped and went off the roadway, it came to rest in a swampy ditch next to the road. The Good: None of the beer escaped from the truck. The Bad: The truck had to be off-loaded before trying to remove it from the ditch.
I would imagine as people are off-loading 40,000 pounds of beer on a summer night, a couple cases of beer are likely to go missing. Although a couple cases of beer feels like a fair price for some good Samaritans to help out with the off-loading. It’s kind of like how you pay your friends for helping you move by getting them drunk.

I’m not sure I’d open those right away.
