Wade Boggs has always been a favorite of the TastyBooze staff. He has some impressive statistics on the field in terms of baseball and off the field in terms of drinking. The Origin of Boggs goes into the latter.
Boggs will be putting on another drinking display if you are lucky enough to live in or around the Boston area. The Spinners, a minor league baseball team located in Lowell, Mass. (about 30 miles outside of Boston), are having the Hall of Famer come pour beers for the fans during Saturday’s game. Of course, Boggs will be pouring a Miller product (The High Life to be exact) for the first hour of the game in the beer garden. And if you’re looking for something lamer to do on Sunday, Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski will be kicking footballs into the crowd. Lame.
