Never ask “What are you going to do, shoot me?” when you are having an argument over beer in Florida.
Lorenzo Jones, 22, was shot by his mother’s boyfriend after asking the above question. Apparently the boyfriend knocked a beer out of Jones’s hands which caused both men to pull knives and threaten one another. The two eventually dropped their knives in favor of good old fashioned fist-a-cuffs. The boyfriend took a slap from Jones and decided he had had enough and went back into the apartment to get his gun. When Jones saw the gun he asked “What are you going to do, shoot me?” and the boyfriend responded by blasting him in the gut.
Only in Florida could an already ridiculous knife fight over a beer escalate into a fucking gut shot over a beer.
