One of baseball’s top young outfielders, Jeff Francoeur is hitting a solid .293 with 19 home runs and 105 RBIs….oh wait, that was 2007. Still only 25, Jeff has fallen off a cliff in the last two seasons. His BA dropped to .239 last season, he spent some time in the minors, and he only smacked 11 homers. This year started off a little better, but he is still only hitting .258 and has already been traded from the Braves to the Mets. But I think hitting might be the least of his problems…
Being scared of the ball can’t be a good thing for turning a career around.
