So this picture of the latest victim of the bacon meme has been floating around the net for a couple of days now. I decided to post it and link back to a post I did back in March about a couple of Suicide Girls (link possibly NSFW) who got bacon tattoos while they were at SXSW.
Imagine my surprise when I pulled up the old post and saw that this guy copied Lynn LaVallee’s (@poshy) bacon tattoo. I was thinking about sending her a message on Twitter about it but when I eventually dug through the back links and got to this guy’s original Flickr post I found that @poshy had already called him out for his jack move.
@poshy says: Someone linked me to it after it was posted on Geekologie. The internet is a small place, dude.
There’s nothing wrong with using Google image search to find tattoo inspiration but change up the design if you’re using something that is obviously someone else’s tattoo. I mean if you found the tattoo through the internet doesn’t it stand to reason someone else is going to be able to find your copy of the tattoo once you post it on Flickr?
