Only about 6 hours left for you to drop almost $40k and become an official test pilot for Martin Aircraft Company’s jetpack. Fuck, I wish I had a spare $40k lying around. I’ve wanted to blast off in a jet pack ever since Hasbro dropped the G.I. Joe JUMP Jet Pack back in the early 80’s.
The overall test pilot program includes 6 flights over 3 days and you will be registered in the company records as an official test pilot. The only requirements are that you’re over 18, less than 198 lbs. and the ca-a-a-ash to back up your winning bid of couse. This jetpack is supposedly can reach heights of 8,000 feet and speeds up to 60 MPH. Despite purchasing “test pilot” status I seriously doubt they are going to let some yahoo off Ebay really test out the jetpack’s limits.
