In a quest for the ultimate ridiculous fried food the Texas State Fair has hit the pantheon. They may have finally figured out a fried food that can not be beat. Some crazy bastard using a combination of “special dough” and quick frying has figured out a way to fry balls of butter. The butter is apparently whipped until “light and fluffy” then coated with the batter and given a hot oil bath.
At this point I think the only thing that could beat these fried ball of churned cream would be fried ball of straight lard.
