We still have half the month of September to go, but that’s not stopping the celebration of Oktoberfest in Seattle this weekend. The Fremont Oktoberfest will begin pouring tomorrow, Friday, afternoon at 5 p.m. with beers being served all weekend. Tickets are going to run you between $20-$30, depending on if you buy them beforehand and how much you want to drink.
Two things to note: The Miss Buxom Contest, which is actually open to all genders, will be decided in the Buxom Beer Garden on Friday evening - I am still available as a judge if needed. Also, this year the Fremont Oktoberfest will be celebrating authentically with the first traditional German Oktoberfest oompah band, The Smilin’ Scandinavians, in the 10-year history of the festival.
If our friends over at the Fremont Oktoberfest feel like passing us a couple free tickets, we would be happy to give them away, or put them to use for ourselves. Either way, everybody wins. Trust me!
