It’s always a risky move wearing the other teams gear in a hostile arena. Especially when you are at risk of being swept - which happened a game later. Well, not only did these dedicated fans have to deal with the surprising series loss, but they got an earful, and a beerful, from some very not-so-modest Dodgers fans.
The chick definitely deserved it, but my favorite part is the boyfriend mulling over what his next move is going to be after his girl got him into this mess. Defend her honor? Follow her out? Or just bicker for a few minutes, while staying a safe distance from these gigantic/drunk/Cardinal-haters? Of course, then she just comes back for more and all hell breaks lose.
