I still haven’t come up with a costume for this weekend which means I’ll end up wearing some piece of shit that I throw together at the last minute. That also means I’ll be getting extra drunk to help myself forget about the aforementioned piece-of-shit costume that I’m wearing. I think these “bloody brain shooters” are just the ticket I need to hop aboard the train to blackout-ville.
The recipe is fairly simple. Mix some strawberry vodka with a little bit of Rose’s lime juice. Then dip a straw into some Bailey’s and hold your finger over the top to trap the Bailey’s in the straw like you used to do when you were a kid. Then put the straw into the shot glass containing your vodka/lime mixture and slowly release the Bailey’s. The acidic lime juice will cause the Bailey’s to slightly curdle which makes your brains. A splash of grenadine makes the blood.
