Reebok Commercial So Bad, It’s Good

If you’re promoting shoes that make your ass look better, it’s probably not a good idea to hire a horn-dog cameraman. Obviously this is the idea behind the Reebok commercial for their new EasyTone shoes. But seriously, the ass-close-ups are a little offensive and crude. And awesome. Judge for yourself:

    Oh My God... I can't believe the commercial for the Reebok Easy Tone sneakers!! I am soooo offended, I am totally boycotting their products as will my girlfriends, I'll tell you that much. First, huge boobs fill up the entire tv screen (is it an underwear commercial? would still be inappropriate). Then a tiny butt. Where are feet? This commercial has nothing to do with shoes. It was a low, sexist way to sell the product and I will be blogging about it everywhere! No wonder young girls grow up with low self esteem. I can't believe, in 2009, this is happening. Thought we came so far. Who approved this? The person who OK'd this commercial and the advertising firm should be fired. Of course, if the sneaker sells, I guess their "sex sells" attitude would be great for them but they sold us women out. Shame.

    these commercials are so ridiculous. Thank you, Reebok, for offending your audience by thinking we are so stupid that we think your ridiculous product would make our boobs jealous of our butts. Are you kidding???!!!! Where is the commercial showing a close up of a penis through thin underwear and saying "your schlong will be jealous of your butt"?

    Its not that bad, its just a commercial, and it is all part of the progression of TV. Don't show your jealousy toooo much

    Absolutely agree. Who is the target demographic for the sneakers anyway? I don't want a commercial that zooms in on boobs and butts telling me to buy their sneakers. I would never take them seriously. A far cry from a Just Do It campaign.

    Ah...I didn't have the pleasure of seeing THIS reebok commercial until I came to this site. I DID see their other disgusting commercial today on tv where the camera is close up on her tits through 2/3 of the commercial and then at the end the camera is stuck up her butt. I immediately turned off the channel that it ran on and will not watch that program or that channel again. They didn't just lose a viewer...they just lost a customer. I will NEVER, EVER buy anything reebok again. They can stick their freaking products up their own butts.
  • This Reebok commercial was aired more than once during a Peanuts cartoon on an early Sunday afternoon on a "family channel"!! This sends terrible messages to young girls and boys! I will not be buying Reebok products because of their poor judgement to show this ad to children. It's bad enought they created this ad at all, but showing it to kids is unbelievable. I will be asking everyone I know to boycott Reebok!
