Nothing really exciting happened on the show - with the exception of Rihanna’s 5th Element outfit. There were some decent performances (Jay-Z/Alicia Keys, Shakira, Carrie Underwood, Rihanna), some disappointing performances (Green Day, Eminem, Timbaland) and some ridiculous performances (Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert). If you’re on the west coast, like me, you missed Jennifer Lopez falling on her ass, thanks to some clever editing on the delayed broadcast. But we still got to see Adam Lambert make out with some dude.
