You read the headline correctly he used a lightsaber. Apparently they are good for more then just bashing the shit out of younger siblings.

An attacker punched the boy’s mother and verbally abused her outside of a bakery before the boy laid into his ass with his toy lightsaber. The toy lightsaber attack caused the attacker to flee the scene.

Respect, to this young kid who protected his Mom and I am glad the attacker fled and didn’t turn his attention to the kid. Unfortunately the report didn’t state if the boy made lightsaber noises when he made his counter assault.

There is one question that I have to ask. What kind of an ass clown has the balls to punch a woman in the face in broad daylight but then runs away when a kid hits him with a plastic lightsaber? I don’t know what the guy was after but I have been hit with a plastic lightsaber and it doesn’t hurt that bad. Maybe if the kid got him right on the wrist…it hurts like a bitch when hard plastic connects with that knobby bone in your wrist.
