Wii Would Like To F–k

July 10th, 2008by Mitch Martin · No Comments

2w.jpg

It was only a matter of time before someone ruined the Wii’s squeaky clean kid/old person friendly image. If this shady website oioo.de is to be believed they are going to be the ones to do it with his and hers Wii dildos. The site only has pictures, a 9/9/08 release date and the following statement, “we search man and woman for a commercial”. I guess that means they need someone to demonstrate their fine product.

There is no mention of what game these accessories might work with but I am willing to guess that it would make steering a Mario Kart a little more interesting.

Virtual Beer Pong, Rated “E” For Everyone

July 9th, 2008by Baba Ganoush · No Comments

Every thing is more fun on Nintendo’s Wii… bowling, playing in a band or just rockin’ out by yourself, tennis, working out, watching your girlfriend workout… and now JV Games is trying to add Beer Pong to that list. The developer created a WiiWare game based on the drinking game that has the Connecticut Attorney General up in arms (probably because he sucks at beer pong).

Alcohol reference in a video game warrants a “Teen” rating, but the company has since removed the beer element and just called the game, “Pong Toss.” Probably a good idea, because we all know how hard it is to get drunk off of virtual beer…not to mention the hangover that comes with it the next morning!

The ESRB game rating board spokesperson suggests the attorney general mind his own business:

“Our concern is that a greater number of consumers (including the age group about which you are most concerned) will be made aware of this game and resolve to play it as a result of publicized statements of advocacy groups and others. Ironically, this is likely to result in more rather than less consumers being drawn to this game, particularly those very minors all of us seek to protect.”

Whoops… I guess we aren’t helping either. It’s just as well that kids start practicing their beer pong skills at an early age, they’ll be that much better off in college. Or after college. Or on the 4th of July, like when I dominated everyone at Diggles’ party with my pong skills. No big deal.

LenDale White: Un-American Freedom Hater

July 7th, 2008by Mike Honcho · No Comments

lendalewhite.jpg
Apparently LenDale White hates Tecmo Bowl. Now that is about the most bullshit I’ve heard in a long time. He says, “I didn’t play in the ’50s, the Tecmo Bowl days,’’ which is a crock of shit.

If I was playing Ice Climbers in 1985, and I was 4 years-old, then I imagine even if he didn’t get a chance to play Tecmo Bowl, LenDale White (future NFL running back) at least played some Tecmo Super Bowl back in the early 90s. I mean, he was 7 years-old when it came out, and at least one of his friends had to have a Nintendo, right?

tecmo.jpg
I realize when he said it he was probably just giving his new running backs coach, Earnest Byner, a little shit, but Tecmo Bowl trash talking isn’t something to be thrown around lightly. Just ask the guy who learned 46 Life Lessons from Tecmo Super Bowl. A few favorites include:

5. Greed is good. Feel free to run Christian Okoye until the Nigerian government criticizes you for your wanton lack of consideration for his health.

14. In the eyes of the Tecmo Super Bowl gods there is no race, creed or ethnicity; except for Bo Jackson, who is a really fast black guy.

24. Never substitute. God chooses starting lineups for a reason.

Why Didn’t I Think of That?: Urinal Video Game

May 19th, 2008by Ol Dirty Curty · 6 Comments

I come across things on this planet and literally kick myself in the balls for not inventing them first; Coldstone Creameries, the Chip Clip, particle accelerators, etc.

Now, two Belgian beer fans have beat me to another fantastic creation…the Urinal Video Game. The ‘Place To Pee’ booth is designed to allow two users to piss on sensors and blow up aliens or ski down a mountain.

There is even an optional funnel accessory for women to enjoy gameplay.

I assume these games are fairly simple. Can you imagine trying to get Ryu to do a Dragon Uppercut by pissing foward+down+foward+punch?

Imagine how many dudes will be pissed on by their friends. “I was trying to get to the Star Level brah! Sorry, your leg got in the way!”

Stay tuned for ‘Golden Shower Tee’

Caption Contest - Mario Kart Wii On The Line

May 16th, 2008by Mitch Martin · 113 Comments

It’s been a while since we have had a Tasty Booze caption contest, but when I saw this picture yesterday I knew it was time to bring it back. That lucky little 12 year old bastard is Christian Elliott and he is hugging Jayde Nicole, the 2008 Playboy Playmate of the Year. Jayde returned to her home town of Port Perry, Ontario to sign autographs for fans.

cufflinkspremier_1999_215516530.jpg

If you get a chubby every time you pick up your Wiimote and you want to display to the world that your level of nerd is unparalleled then these cuff links are for you. From the LEDs on the bottom to the nunchuck on the back side no detail has been spared on these sterling silver bad dudes. I will admit that the $150 price point is a little steep but I have no doubt that these things will sell like hot cakes.

Grand Theft Auto 4

April 15th, 2008by Mr. Wonka · 1 Comment

I love the site aintitcool.com. I have written a few movie reviews for them from time to time, and it’s a daily read for me. They have a resident video game reviewer, Monki, who managed to get an invite to Rockstar games headquarters and play Grand Theft Auto 4 for a few hours. If you are excited about this game, you have to read his review.

This thing comes out on April 29th, and it is going to be HUGE. The official website is here.

Also, fans of scooters might be miffed to hear this interesting aspect of the multiplayer mode:

[…] when you respawn, you spawn with a Faggio. The Vespa-like scooter. It is embarrassing.

Not cool. Everyone knows scooters are awesome. Right?

Big Buck Hunter Safari - I Just Creamed My Jeans

April 4th, 2008by Mitch Martin · 1 Comment

bigbuckhuntersafari-standard.gif
I am a huge fan of Big Buck Hunter. I would be afraid to even try to quantify the amount of money I have dumped into Big Buck Hunter machines at bars around the country. I can’t even count the number of mornings I have woken up with a sore left elbow from a night of Terminator style single arm shotgun pumping.

So you can only imagine my excitement when I came across this bad dude. Big Buck Hunter Safari edition. That’s right bitches you get to roam the deserts, savannahs and jungles of Africa hunting down big game like the Gemsbok, Kudu, Sable, Cape Buffalo and Wildebeast. I don’t even know what half that shit is but I can wait to land my first triple Wildebeast.

The only thing standing between me and Wildebeast hunting bliss is the $4875 price tag on this thing. In a bar setting you could probably pay this thing off in under a month, but unfortunately I do not have a bar. I wonder if there is anyway we could get one of these thing shipped out the Tasty Booze headquarters for review?

A few other quick stats:
New Dual Pump-Action Shotguns!
15 New Bonus Rounds!
25 Photo-Realistic, Hi-Definition Habitats!
Over 400 Authentic and Unique 3-D Hunting Scenes !
Up to 4 players can now compete Head-to-Head !
Hunt in the morning, afternoon and evening
Hunt in changing weather like rain, snow and fog

The Hottest Chicks In Video Games

March 27th, 2008by Mitch Martin · No Comments

The guys over at GameDaily have compiled a list of the hottest 25 chicks in video games and I think they did a pretty good job. I was getting concerned as I approached the end of the list and I still hadn’t seen Lara Croft but they squeezed her in there. A list of hottest video game chicks without Lara would be shenanigans. I have to be honest and say I haven’t come across most of these girls in my gaming. I recognized Ada Wong from Resident Evil 2 on the original Playstation but my recent rotation of Rock Band, Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 has a distinct lack of female characters.

The great thing about video game chicks is that they have all been created by guys that have questionable third base street cred resulting in distinct pattern of large boobs and skimpy outfits. Basically a win-win situation for everyone.

All-Time Sports Games for Old School Nintendo

December 28th, 2007by Baba Ganoush · No Comments

The Love of Sports put together a nice rundown of the best sports game made for the older Nintendo systems. The list is pretty good and some obvious thought was put into the ranking and overall decision making process.

Here’s their top 7:

1. Blades of Steel - Konami, 1988
2. Double Dribble - Konami, 1987
3. California Games - Epyx, 1989
4. Track and Field II - Konami, 1988
5. Mike Tyson’s Punch Out - NES, 1987
6. RBI Baseball - Tengen, 1988
7. Tecmo Super Bowl - Tecmo, 1991

My favorites on this list were California Games and Tecmo Super Bowl. In college, my roommate and I rocked the old school Nintendo and had many battles on California Games and Contra - two games which will never lose their appeal. Tecmo Super Bowl felt like the first legit football game - playing a whole season’s worth of games and tracking your stats - it still remains a classic. Too bad you can’t find a sports game these days without “EA” in the title. Not to mention, where’s Konami these days? Selling out to Yu-Gi-Oh… nice.

South Park Takes On Guitar Hero

November 6th, 2007by Mitch Martin · 1 Comment

There is nothing like an overweight middle aged white guy playing a little Guitar Hero in his whitey tighties. This Wednesday night at 10 p.m. the boys of South Park will take on the phenomenon that is Guitar Hero. The picture alone not only made me laugh out loud in my cubicle this morning but guaranteed this episode will be receiving “do not delete” status on my DVR.

World’s Best Tetris Player

September 10th, 2007by Mike Honcho · 2 Comments

This is amazing! I have no idea how many quarters this guy’s pumped into this Tetris machine over the years, but I imagine it was quite a few. Things start to get interesting at about the 3 minute mark. At the 5 minute mark he starts playing through the credits on some invisible level, which blew my mind. He’s definitely a Grand Master.
