One of the internet’s most popular sources of candid ridiculousness in the United States may soon face a ban in the United Kingdom before it even launches. The Country’s Information Commissioner is concerned about Google’s privacy policies around taking pictures of unsuspecting Londoners on public streets. Given some of Google’s work recently, maybe the old Commish is right. Then again, there would be a lot less shit for people to post on Digg and Reddit if their was no Street View around. I guess this is why we broke away from England in the first place. First they taxed our tea and now they are trying to tell one of our huge multi-billion dollar corporations that it can’t take free advantage of their citizens and profit from it. What a bunch of dicks.
