Back on August 7th 1974 Philip Pettit spent 45 minute on a cable strung between the tops of the World Trade Center towers some 1300 feet above the ground. He and his crew had spent six years planning and strung the wire between the two towers using a bow and arrow.
How have I not heard about this? This guy was up between those towers illegally with no net and no parachute. At one point the crazy French bastard actually laid down on the cable. I don’t really know what to say, it’s flat out fucking amazing.
Many give credit to RZA as being the production brains behind the Wu-Tang’s success, he’s produced many of the clan’s solo projects and now has higher aspirations to move to the silver screen (read: movies). According to Ain’t It Cool News, the RZA is going to make his writing-directing debut with a film called “The Man With The Iron Fist.” With the infatuation of kung-fu, it’s no surprise that RZA is going to tackle this genre. And you know it’s going to be effing awesome!
The RZA or Bobby Digital - his Wu-Tang alter ego - was rumored to be working on an upcoming movie based on his other persona, and even some recent videos on YouTube suggest he’s working on something. In the meantime, you can enjoy the RZA’s recently released single “You Can’t Stop Me Now”:
It may start with a couple of dudes skating in a park, but then you her a douchebag in his Mercedes almost hit an old lady crossing the street. Sure she’s on her last legs and probably sleeping while standing up, but have a little patience dude. I’m sure we’ve all been slowed down by the elderly in our lives, no reason to blast your horn repeatedly at this sweet old lady though. This guy gets my vote for Douchebag of the Week.
